Scientific expertise
Coatex initiated a research program around the water retention of coating colors, its impact on the thickening mechanisms and the coating structure. Very interesting results of this work will soon be released.
Optimization of the coating process
Always mindful of market challenges, Coatex proposes a new approach of rheology modifiers, a renewed solution focused on the improvement of the coating process and its cost. The ease-of-use of the new liquid grades allows Paper and Broad producers to decrease cost and improve quality consistency through dosage reduction, preparation time reduction, better coater runnability and better control on the coat weight.
Supply chain process improvement
After USA and China, Coatex increases its production capacity in Europe and Latin America. These investments enable Coatex to enhance its supply chain and reaffirm its commitment to the paper and board industry.
