Product overview
Rationalisation of raw materials and simplification of the process are important issues for the paint makers. The design of Ecodis™ P 500 HR fully complies with these new requirements. Ecodis™ P 500 HR is a high effective acrylic dispersant which suppresses the need for further polyphosphate addition in order to control the hardness of the water used for the formulation. Ecodis™ P 500 HR is recommended for water-based systems showing a high PVC (Pigment Volumic Concentration), such as matt dispersion paints, thick film coatings and fillers. Ecodis™ P 500 HR shows excellent dispersion performances towards natural and precipitated calcium carbonates. Using low concentrations of Ecodis™ P 500 HR, deflocculation process is facilitated, compatibility with most of the binders is optimised, storage stability and water resistance are improved.
