A full range of ASE (Alkali Swellable Emulsions) type acrylic rheology modifiers and thickeners with key advantages during the formulation and the application such as ease of use, strong thickening, high efficiency, high body and structure and good antisettling. Furthermore, they can be an excellent alternative to HEC thickeners.

Viscoatex™ 100 S is a powerful acrylic thickener. The high viscosity formulations made with Viscoatex™ 100 S exhibit a smooth and easy flow. Primarily designed for water-based systems, it can also be used to thicken solvent based formulations such as alcohol gels or petroleum based solvent as long as it is used in combination with a polar solvent.

Viscoatex™ 330 s a synthetic alkali swellable liquid, solvent free thickener for water-borne systems, effective to increase low shear viscosities as well as yield values. Its use in textured coatings stops sagging and gives a good body to the coating without decreasing brushability. In adhesives, particularly on vertical surfaces, it provides excellent resistance to movement immediately after application.

The use of Viscoatex™ 46 in water-based systems allows an increase in the yield value (i.e. low shear viscosity). Its use in textured coatings stops sagging and gives a good body to the coating without decreasing brushability. In paints and adhesives, Viscoatex™ 46 avoids the formation of syneresis and sagging. In pigments and extender dispersions (pigment pastes or slurries), the use of Viscoatex™ 46 avoids settling.

VISCOATEX™ 560 is a formaldehyde-free, APEO-free , Heavy metal-free and Solvent-free non associative thickener designed for use in adhesives, paints, sealants and mastics. VISCOATEX™ 560 imparts robustness versus variations of ingredients such as latex type, surfactant and co-solvent.

Viscoatex™ 730 is a synthetic alkali swellable, solvent free and liquid thickener for water-borne systems, highly effective to increase low shear viscosities as well as yield values. Levels of use can thus be significantly reduced by replacing usual low shear effective thickeners with Viscoatex™ 730.
